Dear Woodford Town Family,
On Saturday, our boys went toe-to-toe with a strong Step Three side in the FA Cup and showed the heart, determination, and quality that makes this club so special. To come away with a 1-1 draw in such a high-pressure tie is a credit to every player, coach, and volunteer who works so hard for Woodford Town FC.
But now, the job is not done. On Wednesday night, we welcome them back to Ashton’s Stadium for the replay. This is our chance, on our pitch, in front of our people, to write another unforgettable chapter in our club’s story.
I want to take a moment to thank every single supporter who travelled and roared us on at the weekend - you were magnificent. Time and again, you prove why our fans are among the loudest and most passionate in non-league football. On Wednesday, we need you again, in full voice, turning Ashton’s into a fortress. The players feed off your energy, and together we can make the difference.
The FA Cup is about moments like these - underdogs defying the odds, communities coming together, and dreams being chased under the floodlights. Let’s get Ashton’s bouncing on Wednesday and give our players the best possible chance to push through to the next round.
Thank you, as always, for your unwavering support. Let’s do this together.
Come on you Woods!
Anthony Scott
