Despite three defeats at the beginning of the O'Donoghue's tenure as Joint-Interim Managers, there has been plenty of positives to take for Woodford Town ahead of the visit of Basildon United to Ashton's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In midweek, despite losing at Heybridge Swifts, The Woods travelled home feeling aggrieved that they were leaving empty-handed, having dominated the entirety of the second half. The story was the same in the previous losses at Great Wakering Rovers and Barking, where defensive mistakes left Woodford short-handed as well as failure in front of goal.

However, at least five new additions will be available to bolster the ranks for the clash against Basildon United, with their pedigree ranging from Step Three to the top of Step Five. All signings will be revealed across our social channels in the coming days, however, to catch a glimpse of our new signings in action first, the best place to be on Saturday is IG8!

Tickets are available upon arrival at the turnstiles, costing £8 for adults, £4 for concessions and £1 for under 13s.
