Mulbarton Wanderers are the visitors to Ashton's Stadium in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, as Shane Baptiste's side look to reach the Third Qualifying Round for the second time in as many years against opposition from higher up the non-league pyramid.

That, in recent years, has not acted as a deterrent for The Woods, who beat Newmarket Town (Step Four) and Bury Town (Step Three) to set up the QR3 tie with Isthmian League Premier Division side St Albans City, where we fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat in the 2025/26 campaign.

With the arrival of The Wanderers to IG8 at the weekend, we will, once again, find ourselves up against an opponent who ply their trade in the step above us. The visitors achieved promotion from the Thurlow Nunn League last season in a historic treble-winning season, and are currently playing in the Isthmian League Division One North, where they have had a positive start to the season.

Tickets are available to purchase at the gate, and The Woods will need the town's full backing from the first whistle, all the way to the last, as we look to make it another memorable ocassion at Ashton's.
