Shane Baptiste's Woodford Town are back in action on Friday night and are looking to make it three consecutive wins in the Essex Senior League, when newly-promoted Hutton FC make the trip to IG8.

The Woods have scored six goals in their last two ESL outings, with number nine Ollie Sotoyinbo responsible for five of those strikes. The first four came in our 4-1 home victory over Harwich & Parkeston just under a fortnight ago at Ashton's, before our striker opened the scoring in our 2-0 win at Benfleet last weekend, where Marko Protic sealed the three points in second half stoppage time.

We're looking to continue our climb up the Essex Senior League table, and will need the full backing from our supporters for our second Friday night under the lights in the 2026/27 season. Gaining three points would see The Woods move up to sixth place in the league standings, just two points off the play-off places with games in hand following our run in the Emirates FA Cup, which saw us reach the Second Qualifying Round and gain national attention.
