MATCH PREVIEW | Frenford vs Woodford Town - Essex Senior League MD10

Harrison Nathan11 Oct - 09:30

We've previewed all the information ahead of this afternoon's Essex Senior League clash.

We're making the short trip to struggling Frenford for another local derby this afternoon, as we look to taste victory for the first time since we beat Rayleigh Town 5-1 at the end of September.

The Woods

Shane Baptiste's side picked up a point on Tuesday night, as we travelled to the Millbank Stadium to face Halstead Town, who were joint-top of the Essex Senior League ahead of kick-off in that midweek clash.

A win today, in a game that sees us play our third successive game in league action for the first time this season, could see The Woods return to the top of the table, if results elsewhere, involving the rest of the top five, go our way.

Our hosts

Frenford are only held up at the bottom of the table by a winless West Essex side. They have won just one of their opening ten Essex Senior League matches to date, and that victory came in August, with Frenford currently on a run of six straight losses.

Match details

Saturday's fixture will take place away from home at The Drive (IG1 3PS) and will kick off at 15:00 BST.

Kit colours

The hosts will wear their usual red and white striped home shirts, paired with red shorts and red socks. Meanwhile, The Woods will also don their home strip, wearing yellow shirts, blue shorts and white socks. Our goalkeeper will wear all-orange.

Ticket information

Tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the turnstiles, costing £8 for adults and £4 for concessions, with under-16s gaining FREE admission to today's match.

Following along?
