Up next for Woodford Town is a trip to a familiar ground, as we take on Harlow Town in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round - The Woods formerly groundshared at the Paruds Wealth Stadium.
This is our second successive FA Cup tie against opposition from the Spartan South Midlands Football League, whilst we also met with Harlow in a pre-season friendly in preparation for this current season.
The Woods
We are still yet to lose in the 2025/26 campaign, winning all four of our Essex Senior League matches and also picking up another victory in our FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie with Colney Heath, a fortnight ago.
In midweek, two second-half strikes from Ollie Sotoyinbo saw us beat Little Oakley 2-1 to move to the top of the table - our number nine has bagged nine goals in five games and will be looking to add to that tally once again on Saturday.
Our hosts
Harlow have had mixed fortunes at the beginning of their first season back in Step Five. After four matches, they sit around the mid-table mark, having picked up two victories, one draw and one defeat.
They beat our fellow Essex Senior League side Saffron Walden Town in the Extra Preliminary Round, winning 2-1 on home soil after a hard-fought goalless draw in the original tie.
Match details
Saturday's Preliminary Round tie will take place at the Pardus Wealth Stadium (CM19 5BE), and will kick off at 15:00 BST. A replay will take place should the game end in a draw.
Kit colours
Harlow will be in their usual red and white home shirt, which includes red shorts and socks. The Woods will also sport their home strip, featuring a pixelated yellow shirt with blue trims, blue shorts and white socks.
