Woodford Town host Athletic Newham on match day twelve of the Essex Senior League season on Friday night, here is all the information, including stats and more, ahead of the clash.

When the two sides met in this fixture last campaign, we won 1-0 thanks to James Jewers' third-minute goal, in what was a fiery contest which saw both sides have members of the dugout sent off, with Woods goalkeeper Manny Agboola also seeing red for a foul outside the box.

Shane Baptiste will be looking for his side to rediscover their early-season form, having drawn their last three Essex Senior League games against Halstead Town, Frenford and Benfleet.

The Woods, who reached the Third Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup this season, have won all of the last six meetings between the two sides, with their last defeat against Athletic Newham coming in April 2022. We also inflicted a club-record defeat on Newham last season, winning 8-1 away from home.

Newham recently appointed Bash as their new Head Coach, after a torrid start to the season, yet they haven't won since the managerial change.
