A slow start allowed Barking to pull into an early one-goal lead, before clinciality in the final third in the second half saw the visitors add to their tally and leave Ashton's with all three points on Wednesday night.

Finlay Morrell slammed Craig Edwards' side into the lead with a close-range strike after twelve minutes, before second-half strikes from Akiljo Balliu and Morrell again saw the scoreline end with Barking three to the good. There will be concern for The Woods, who lost both Zak Pianim and Kye Scott inside the first 45 minutes, as they travel to Athletic Newham on Saturday, looking to bounce back.
