Coming into the clash as the underdogs, we held our own for a large portion of the first half as we looked to create issues for Little Oakley on the break, however, a flurry of goals just before the interval put the visitors out of sight, before they rounded the scoring off in the second half.

George Davis struck first just before the half-hour mark, before goals from Jordi Papple and Louis Arnold in the final five minutes before the break saw us with a mountain to climb ahead of the second half. Despite battling well and looking for a way back into the game, it wasn't to be, and a second goal on the night for Papple with 81 minutes on the clock saw The Acorns put the game to bed.
