Despite falling behind early, an equaliser from Miles Mitchell-Nelson soon after, coupled with a second strike from our number 30 and a goal from Kye Scott, saw us complete the turnaround and pick up a big three points over struggling Frenford at Ashton's under the lights!
We started well, but failed to capitalise on early chances before Bayli Adams fired the visitors ahead, but just six minutes later, Mitchell-Nelson rose highest to greet a Ryan Hervel corner and pull us back on level terms! Despite pushing on in the remainder of the first half, we were unable to find the breakthrough and headed into the break at 1-1.
Early on in the second half, it was again a set-piece that caused issues for Frenford, with Sam Owusu's long throw ensuring that chaos was caused in the box. The ball fell to our number 30, who volleyed home to give us the lead. And as we entered the final ten minutes, Kye Scott was on hand to wrap up the points, as he drove through on goal and thumped the ball into the back of the net, after a sublime through ball by Ollie Sotoyinbo.
