Our Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy campaign got underway as Ilford visited Ashton's on Wednesday night, with The Foxes looking to win at our home ground for the second time in a month, having beaten us 2-1 in the Essex Senior League at the beginning of October.

Goals from David Gokou, Marko Protic, Dimi Christpu and Jibran Ahmed - who notched his first goal for the Club - ensured that we progressed to the Second Round on a cold night under the lights at home.
