Shane Baptiste’s side will make their longest away trip of the season on Tuesday night, as they travel north to face Norfolk side Mulbarton Wanderers, with the winners landing a spot in the Third Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The original tie finished 2-1 to Wanderers, but after an FA appeal for the wrong application of Law 14, we have been handed a second chance with a replay at the Abode Arena on Tuesday.
The controversy has drawn the attention of the nation, with some of the biggest amongst football media covering the story.
Following the draw last Monday, the prize is clear. Whoever takes the victory will host Step Three giants Gloucester City at the next stage. And if the stakes couldn’t be higher, the tie will be decided on the night, with extra-time and penalties to be played out if required.
