Looking to put the midweek loss against AFC Wimbledon behind us, Rob Gammons’ side make the trip up the M11 to take on Saffron Walden Town, who sit just one point and one place above us in the ESL table.
The Bloods beat us 4-1 in the reverse fixture back in November, however, they’re form has been inconsistent as of late. Last weekend, they found themselves 2-0 down at Harwich and Parkeston before the clash was abandoned due to fog in the 40th minute, whilst they suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Hullbridge Sports in the Errington Challenge Cup before that. Their last win in their first match of 2026, as they dispatched of Basildon United 4-0 at Catons Lane.
Expect a passionate, entertainment-filled afternoon on Saturday, as The Woods look to pick up momentum and get back on track ahead of the final few months of the campaign.
Back Rob Gammons and his side on the road, and make it another afternoon to remember following the boys in yellow and blue!
