Shane Baptiste's Woodford Town side is back in action on Tuesday night, as we face high-flying Halstead Town away from home, as we look to bounce straight back from our defeat to Ilford on Friday night.
The Woods were not at the races under the lights at home in that loss, and will need to bring their A-game to the Millbank Stadium, against a Halstead side who are sitting joint-top of the Essex Senior League with SOUL Tower Hamlets on 20 points. The Humbugs have not been defeated in the league since the second match day in July, whilst their last loss came a few days after that, in the Emirates FA Cup on the first weekend in August.
Woodford won in this fixture last season, with the goals coming through David Gokou, Marcus Painter, Sam Owusu and Stefan Balev.
