With no scheduled game in the final week before Christmas, our next challenge sees The Woods travel to Myrak Park to take on in-form local rivals Buckhurst Hill.

A sought-after fixture, which is the one looked out for on fixture release day, as the two teams from the Roding Valley come to blows, it is always drama-filled and a spectacle for entertainment, and with it falling around the festive period, the first Derby of the season is expected to be thrilling.

The Woods have lost just once in all competitions at Myrak Park, with that defeat coming towards the end of last season; however, notable highlighted results include a 5-0 victory in August 2023 and a 3-0 victory in the Errington Challenge Cup during the 2024/25 campaign.
